Sustainability

We care for people and the environment together with our partners

Sustainable development is one of the strategic guidelines of the Transmeri Group. Through our operations, we strive to create a better life for people and the planet. We believe that a sustainable future is built together, and therefore we develop sustainability across the entire Group in cooperation with our partners.

Our sustainability efforts are guided by a Group-wide sustainability programme, complemented by company-specific targets and initiatives. We work closely across company boundaries and learn from one another. In this way, we strengthen the impact of our sustainability work and also support our partners in achieving their sustainability goals.

We have chosen the internationally recognized 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN as the framework for our sustainability work. We support the promotion of all 17 goals both in Finland and globally, but we have identified the following three Sustainable Development Goals as the most relevant to our business:

8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, 13 – Climate Action, and 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

Group Sustainability Program 2026-2030

Our sustainability work is based on the Group’s sustainability programme, which applies to all companies within the Group and provides us with a common direction.

The programme’s targets and metrics bring the owner strategy, management’s sustainability views and stakeholder needs into practical action. The programme themes are based on sustainability topics that we have identified as material for all our companies.
