Sustainable Production

Our production facility, Transmeri Logistics, actively and systematically invests in environmental issues. Transmeri Logistics earned the ISO 14001 environmental certificate as early as 1999, and currently, Transmeri Logistics Oy’s certificate covers the processes of developing, designing, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, and procurement of chemical products. The entire staff of Transmeri Logistics is trained in environmental issues, as environmental training is an essential part of our employees’ orientation. With a certified environmental management system, we can centrally manage our environmental issues and reduce our environmental impact. Our factory’s energy consumption has been reduced, for example, with a cooling water recycling system that saves water and recovers the energy stored in it. In addition, the factory’s internal lighting is implemented with energy-efficient LED lighting technology controlled by motion sensors. The production facility uses fossil-free and 100 % renewable district heating in its property.
