Certified Natural Cosmetics

In the fall of 2020, Transmeri Oy, a subsidiary of Transmeri Group, launched its own certified natural cosmetics line – TAIKA.

TAIKA is:

  • Made in Finland
  • Ecocert Cosmos natural certified
  • 100 % vegan
  • Carbon footprint offset

Domesticity

TAIKA products are made in Finland. The Key Flag symbol granted by the Association for Finnish Work indicates that the product is made in Finland. The domestic content of the product is at least 50 % of the cost price.

Certified natural cosmetics

The products have been awarded the COSMOS Natural certificate by Ecocert, which guarantees environmental friendliness throughout the entire chain. Ecocert oversees the selection of raw materials, recipes, production, packaging, marketing, and supply chain of the products.

Vegan

TAIKA products do not use any animal-derived ingredients, so they are 100 % vegan.

Product manufacturing

Cosmia Nordic, which manufactures TAIKA products, strives to minimize its carbon footprint. The production facility uses 100 % renewable energy sources for electricity and heat, which do not produce carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, the TAIKA product line has offset the unavoidable emissions (23.8 tCO2, excluding the product use phase) generated during the lifecycle of products produced in 2024 by purchasing 30 certified climate units from the Gold Standard certified afforestation project in Sodo, Ethiopia (GS ID 3007). Product packaging

We want to use the most ecological packaging possible without compromising on quality. Our packaging uses:

  • Recycled plastic
  • Plant-based plastic
  • Recycled cardboard
  • All packaging is recyclable

The range includes three product lines: products for aging skin, dry and sensitive skin, and a moisturizing care line for all skin types.
